WA Family First

Jim was born in South Australia and currently lives in the Perth suburb of Wilson with his wife Moira. They have 4 married children, three sons who are Graduate Engineers and a daughter who is a Nurse.
Jim completed his schooling in Darwin N.T. where he was first employed as a Draughtsman before coming to Perth to further his studies in Architecture and Science at Perth Technical College. He was later employed as a Laboratory Technician in the Physics Teaching Labs at Perth Technical College and then Curtin University.

Jim McCourt

Jim holds a Private Pilots license and is currently completing his second home built Aircraft. He follows most sports and was a State Light-Middle Weight Boxing Champion as a teenager.
He continues to be sort after as a public speaker and has run numerous life enrichment based education programs and seminars. He was the founding Pastor of one of Perth’s largest modern churches, The Perth Christian Life Center and has also been the Director of an outreach foundation that operates in Australia, USA and UK.

Jim is passionate about helping other people reach their full potential and is a strong advocate for family oriented and leadership centered training. He believes strongly in the need to make Governments more accountable and is an advocate for policies that respect individual rights and civil liberties while balancing the need to protect our children as well as the rights of parents.
