WA Family First - Fremantle

My name is Larry Parsons and I’ve been married to school teacher Glenda for 25 years, and we have three children aged 22, 21 & 16. More than 20 years ago, we decided to leave South Africa and make Australia our home. I count myself fortunate to have been born in a family of nine children, where I have learnt from my mum and dad at an early age to show respect and courtesy to others irrespective of colour or creed.
I run my own small business in the Real Estate industry and have done so successfully for the past 10 years, during which time I have supported numerous community organisations in their fund raising efforts.

For 12 years prior to that, I was involved in youth & children’s outreach work on a full time basis with the Church of the Province of Southern Africa, both in Australia and abroad. I believe that our youth are not to be seen only as the leaders of the future, but that they should be given every opportunity from a young age to grow in various areas of leadership.
When people have dreams, ideals and goals to strive for, their hope for the future grows. This starts at home, and elected governments must do all it can to provide the necessary infrastructure and support to encourage local families to flourish. Having raised three children, often through troubled times, I have gained valuable life experiences in family life issues which I am keen to share with the wider community.
I am keenly interested to promote the policies and ideals of the FAMILY FIRST PARTY, as strong families promote strong communities which in turn make for strong nations. I look forward to helping the people in the Electorate of Fremantle with issues surrounding the family, and building the wider community life.

When not involved in business, I enjoy a game of golf, having a swim or a jog, or catching up with friends over a coffee (and cake!).
The Family must come first, and it’s a cause well worth fighting for! So I invite like minded individuals young and not so young, to join me in this electoral campaign – YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
